Went out with sis to accompany me go check out the latest exhibition at the Annexe Gallery. This exhibition really caught my eyes coz its a black and white photography exhibition by ten Malaysian photographers including Alex Moh, Bernice Chauly and our own golden boy Pang Khee Teik.
Practically, I was drooling the whole 45 minutes i was there. The curator there was really nice. Some galleries won't let you take any pictures inside. Like the Petronas Gallery. But this guy said there should be no problem taking pictures coz its one way to promote art. True enough.
I wonder when can i ever exhibit my projects there..sigh..
I even checked out the gallery rental prices. Rm500 for a day. Wow.
After that, went for a stroll inside Central Market. Same stuffs though. Tourists still roam the floor.
The train ride to KLCC was packed as usual.Even met a mother and her two daughters who just came back from demonstrating to abolish ISA along Masjid Jamek. The mother told me that her husband was in the ISA for two years from 2001-2003. They just wanted to make people aware on the wrong rights imposed by the ISA. They told me that while they were demonstrating, the police took away their banners and etc and many had to dispersed since Friday prayers was approaching. She even told me that, we have to fight politically if we want to free people from ISA. It was such a wonderful experience actually talking to the people involved first hand with ISA.
Me and sis went straight to Gallery Petronas. The exhibition is called Working Title. By 12 Malaysians. This exhibition is more focus on contemporary usage of art. Not much acrylic usage. =(
They used video installations, metal molds, sculpture and etc. Sadly, no photography allowed. Sad case right!?
OOh...i'm practically drooling at a grey Converse sneakers! =) While passing Oakley, encountered with some perverts. Gosh. Give me a break! I mean, you're suppose to be working! Not flirting! I mean, even the people at Central Market were nice. This is KLCC! And, i would have understood if those "kids" at the park or just somewhere along the corridors were doing those whistling sounds. But this is like low class idiots who are suppose to be working are doing these things! Mashallah!
Encountered more mediocre s on the way to the train station. O'Brien's sandwich shop. Nothing Better to do is it?! Damn.
Enough with the wrath Sarah!! Ok, to cool things off, i'm really in NEED of these few things. NEED?! ok, i was kinda exaggerating..heheh
